On November 4, 2014, the New York Law Journal published an article on page 1 that reports that the Unified Court System will be working with the New York State Bar Association to develop a more expansive definition of pro bono to guide attorneys when they disclose pro bono hours and monetary contributions. Section 118.1 of the Rules of the Chief Administrative Judge contains the rules established in 2013 requiring reporting of pro bono disclosures (NYLJ, May 1, 2013).
