On September 5, 2012, at our annual meeting of the general membership, newly named “Immediate Past President,” James McClymonds was presented with a plaque in appreciation for his dedicated service to NYSALJA.
Though Judge McClymonds, as President Elect in July 2009, wasn’t supposed to begin his tenure as president until the fall of 2010, he graciously agreed to take the reigns as Acting President when then President, Marc Zylberberg, needed to resign for health reasons. McClymonds officially began his two-year term as president in the fall of 2010.
