3M’s booth at LegalTech NY 2013 yielded some cool info on their privacy filters for securing information. Natural view filters are also available. They come in a wide range of sizes (both framed and frameless) for desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones.
In addition to helping protect confidential information from prying eyes (screen data is visible only to someone directly in from of the screen) their filters (including the natural view screens) help protect displays from scratches, fingerprints and damage. Their privacy filters come in two flavors: Standard and 3M Gold. 3M claims that their Gold privacy filters provide twice the privacy of their Standard filters and up to 2.25 times that of competitive products.
For smartphones, their screen protectors prevent others from viewing information on your display, are easy to attach and remove, help prevent damage, reduce glare, our fingerprint resistant and come with a limited six-month warranty. For tablets, they come with an interesting feature– by changing the device’s orientation, you decide when to keep information private and when to share. It also maintains high clarity of graphic images and touchscreen functionality, in addition to protecting the screen and having easy, residue free removal.
