Welcome to 2013! The NYSALJA Executive Board has voted to offer one $500 challenge grant to be used toward attendance at the NAALJ mid-year meeting this spring in Williamsburgh VA.
Rules of the road are as follows:
1/You must be a paid-up member in good standing;
2/Who has not received a challenge grant in the past three years;
3/And must place your name into the proverbial hat by March 1, 2013.

Also, you will all be winners in 2013. Our CLE gurus expect to roll out our first webinar quite soon and there is doubly good news to report. It will be FREE to all members in good standing and virtual attendees will receive 2 highly prized ethics credits. The Board is focusing its efforts on ALJ education this year and you can expect for this to be just the first in a series of outstanding CLE programs. Take it from me, the shopaholic/shoe-aholic, this is a great bargain!
The NYSALJA Executive Board will meet again on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at both downstate and Capitol district locations. More detailed meeting information, including the location of pre-meeting libations, will be posted so please come and join us! All members are welcome!
